Mark Parisi is a New England-born artist who has been creating funny Off the Mark comic strips for nearly 34 years now. During these years, the artist has created over 10,000 cartoons, and they’re still as cheeky and accurate as they were when they first came out.
In a recent interview with Bored Panda, Mark said he knew he wanted to cartoon ever since he could hold a crayon. Some of his biggest inspirations were American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz and MAD magazine, although it wasn’t until he saw Gary Larson’s comics that he knew what type of comics he should be doing. “Now I’m inspired by everything that happens in life, from pets to pop culture to pandemics,” revealed the artist.
