There are a lot of discussions going around today about gender norms and roles. People are beginning to defy them more and more, stepping out of their ‘traditional roles’ and being who they want to be, instead of what society expects them to be. Photographer Nir Arieli from Israel is helping defy these norms by capturing the feminine and gentle side of men.
The photographer started a project where male models pose, look, and present themselves in a gentle, serene, and beautiful way, instead of the usual way men are represented in media. Nir wants to show the vulnerability and emotions in men with his photos.

We have many posts where men express their vulnerable side, femininity, and gentleness. Like this man who proves that clothes have no gender by wearing skirts and dresses. Or this guy who wears heels like nobody’s business and proves that they’re not only for women.
