The artist is particularly interested in empty spaces and leaves a lot of freedom for personal interpretation. While everyone can imagine the scenario they want behind these images, they all give a feeling of tranquillity, solitude and suspended time. Arch McLeish finds beauty in empty streets, passers-by in a street or rubbish, often accompanied by a sky that looks like it came straight out of a dream.
