Uninhabited Houses Buried Under Sand

In his Uninhabited project, British photographer James Kerwin highlights deserted places, ghost towns and abandoned houses. Already familiar with deserted buildings since his previous Decadence series, the artist (who documents his work on his YouTube channel) this time visited cities like Kolmanskop in Namibia and Al Madam in the United Arab Emirates, where empty homes have been buried under sand, overtaken by nature. Started in 2019, this series should last until 2024.
