If you’ve ever played The Sims, you probably have spent hours creating all sorts of wacky homes for your characters to live in. However, even the craziest homes you managed to design are nothing compared some of the homes that Belgians build in real life.

For whatever reason, some Belgians like to go all out when it comes to designing their homes – sometimes to the point where they start looking absolutely ridiculous. This phenomenon even inspired author Hannes Coudenys to start a whole project designed entirely to ugly Belgian houses, and it’s hilariously entertaining.
